Braemar in the Media

Parliament Street and Braemar have featured in a number of television and film productions.
 
At Braemar : In January 2011 "The Most Fun You Can Have Dying"  starring Matt Whelan and Roxane Mesquida. Produced by Alex Cole-Baker.
 
At Braemar : In October 2010 "Bliss", a biography of author Katherine Mansfield, starring Tandi Wright.

At Braemar : In February 2007  "The Man Who Lost His Head" starring Martin Clunes and Caroline Harker. Joint production TVNZ and ITV UK. It was first broadcast on Sunday 26 August 2007 at 9pm on ITV1 in Britain and 8:30pm on TV ONE in New Zealand.
 
In January 2006, The New Zealand Herald for our efforts to protect a jacaranda tree in the neighbouring historic garden.
 
In the Spring issue of 2005 in Heritage, the magazine of the Historic Places Trust of New Zealand.
 
At Braemar : In March 2004, by the BBC for a made for TV Film production, "Not Only But Always", starring Rhys Ifans as Peter Cook and Aidan McArdle as Dudley Moore. This movie was released Christmas 2004 on Channel 4 in the UK.
 
At Braemar : In 2001, Don Selwyn used Braemar as Shylock's house in his beautiful "Maori Merchant of Venice" the first all Maori film with English subtitles.
 
In 1980, Braemar was featured in a well known NZ film, "Goodbye Pork Pie" directed by Geoff Murphy.
